When the luxury apartments and Giant grocery store opened in 2013 at the City Market at O, the development was part of the transformation of the Shaw neighborhood in Northwest Washington into a destination for new bars and restaurants and residences.
The next phase of City Market at O, known as 880 P, continues the transformation of the entire block of Ninth and P streets NW.
Roadside Development and Bozzuto Management are now leasing the 142 units in 880 P, which include nine penthouse units with fireplaces and three townhouses. The rents range from $2,160 for a 423-square-foot studio apartment to $12,000 for a two-level unit with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, 1,432 square feet of living space and a wraparound terrace with an indoor-outdoor fireplace.
The primary amenities of the building are a rooftop with a waterfall, a reflecting pool, a lap pool, fire pits and a dog park. The roof level also has a music room with a 1906 Steinway piano. Other building amenities include a fitness center, an espresso bar, a demonstration kitchen and concierge services.
